[ Lainey Kekic ]Sophomore outside hitter Lainey Kekic (Canfield/Western Reserve) and sophomore outside hitter Sam Owen (Westerly, R.I./The Prout School) posted double-digit performances in kills to help Ohio Wesleyan to a North Coast Athletic Conference win over Kenyon on Thursday in Gambier.

Ohio Wesleyan won the match by scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-18.

Kekic and Owen led the Bishops with 11 kills apiece, while sophomore outside hitter Alexa Bean (Columbus/Upper Arlington) compiled a .545 attack percentage on the way to adding 8 kills. Senior middle hitter Janna Dagley (Beavercreek) contributed 7 kills and led the Bishop defense with 3 blocks.

Sophomore setter Sarah Marshall (Lima/Senior) doled out 36 assists.

Junior libero Katie Schlaudt (Holland, Mich.) collected a team-high 18 digs, with Bean and sophomore setter Jenna Teeters (Johnstown) adding 12 digs apiece.
