Sophomore outside hitter Alexa Bean (Columbus/Upper Arlington) and freshman outside hitter Sara Morris (Point White Mountain, Alaska/Mt. Edgecumbe) posted double-digit performances in kills, but Denison rallied to defeat Ohio Wesleyan in a North Coast Athletic Conference match on Saturday in Granville.

Denison won the match by scores of 25-21, 22-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-9.

Bean finished with 16 kills and added 17 digs, while Morris finished with 10 kills, shared the Bishop lead with 3 blocks, and added 13 digs.

Sophomore setter Sarah Marshall (Lima/Senior) dished out 41 assists and added 12 digs.

Defensive leaders for the Bishops included senior middle hitter Janna Dagley (Beavercreek), who shared the team lead with 3 blocks; and junior libero Katie Schlaudt (Holland, Mich.), who had a team-high 29 digs.
