Six Bishops Picked to All-NCAC
Women's Soccer Teams

[ Michelle Corbett ]A total of 6 Ohio Wesleyan University women’s soccer players were named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference teams, it was announced today.

Senior forward Michelle Corbett (Dublin/Scioto) and senior forward Allie Cozzone (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) were first-team All-NCAC selections; junior defender Megan Goodrich (Seven Hills/Laurel School) and freshman midfielder Makinzie Krebsbach (Vadnais Heights, Minn./Totino-Grace) were second-team all-conference choices; and sophomore defender Victoria King (Westerville/Worthington Christian) and junior defender Carolyn Tallman (Park Ridge, Ill./Maine South) were honorable mention picks.

Corbett led the Bishops in scoring with 8 goals and 3 assists. She was a first-team All-NCAC selection for the fourth straight season.

Cozzone ranked second on the team in scoring with 7 goals and 4 assists. She was a second-team all-conference pick in 2007, 2006 and 2005.

Goodrich, King and Tallman led an Ohio Wesleyan defense that allowed 32 goals in 19 games while compiling 5 shutouts.

Krebsbach ranked third on the team in scoring with 6 goals and 5 assists.

Ohio Wesleyan finished the season with a 10-6-3 record. The Bishops finished fifth in the NCAC championship race.
