Freshman Marina Metzler (Columbia, Md./Hammond) recorded Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish at the Kenyon Invitational, hosted by Kenyon College on Saturday in Gambier.
Kenyon won the meet with 375 points to 312 for Denison. Wittenberg finished third with 224 points, followed by Wooster (78), Carnegie Mellon (69), Allegheny (62), Ohio Wesleyan (37), Washington & Lee (33), and Findlay (17).
Metzler finished fifth in the 100 breaststroke and sixth in the 200 IM.
Also scoring for the Bishops was senior Megan Downing (Mentor/Gilmour Academy), who placed ninth in the 100 butterfly and 16th in the 50 freestyle.
