Junior Kendra Klossner (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley), freshman Kirstin Mowry (Centerville) and senior Katie Keleshian (Richmond Heights/Regina) each won an event and helped a relay team take a first-place finish, but Mount Union outscored Ohio Wesleyan in a non-conference dual meet on Friday at Pfeiffer Natatorium.

Klossner won the 50 freestyle in :25.89 and added a second in the 100 backstroke, while Mowry won the 200 IM in 2:23.70 and added a third in the 100 freestyle and Keleshian won the 1000 freestyle in 11:50.06.

The trio teamed with freshman Ali Russ (Shaker Heights) on the 400 freestyle relay team, which won its event in 3:50.61.

Also winning events for Ohio Wesleyan were sophomore Marisa Obuchowski (Baltimore, Md./Pikesville), who won the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.01 and placed third in the 100 butterfly; and freshman Marina Metzler (Columbia, Md./Hammond), who won the 100 butterfly in 1:03.53.

Other standouts for the Bishops included Russ, who finished second in the 100 and 200 freestyles; sophomore Brenna Irrer (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer), who placed second in the 500 freestyle and third in the 1000 freestyle; senior Megan Downing (Mentor/Gilmour Academy), who finished third in the 200 IM; junior Erin Hanahan (Madison/Perry), who placed third in the 1-meter diving; and senior Caitlin Hagen (East Lyme, Conn.), who was third in the 100 breaststroke.

The Bishop 400 medley relay team of freshman Jill Simpson (Westerville/North), Obuchowski, Metzler and Downing finished second.
