Freshman Becky Simon (Hilliard/Darby), junior Mollie Campbell (Burlington, Vt.), sophomore Pam Quigney (Mentor), and freshman Mackenzie Conway (Marion/Pleasant) were double winners as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Malone in non-conference play on Tuesday in Hilton Head, S.C.

Simon and Campbell combined for a marathon 9-7 win at No. 2 doubles. Simon followed with a straight-set win at No. 2 singles, taking the second set in a tiebreaker, and Campbell came back after losing the first set to win the second set and take in the third set in a super tiebreaker for a win at No. 3 singles.

Quigney and Conway recorded an 8-2 decison at No. 3 doubles. Quigney won in straight sets at No. 4 singles, and Conway won a split-set verdict at No. 5 singles.

Freshman Amy Braun (Bexley) completed the Bishop scoring with a win at No. 6 singles, winning the first set in a tiebreaker and blanking her Pioneer opponent in the second set.
