Oberlin swept all 3 doubles matches and a pair of singles flights in defeating Ohio Wesleyan in a quarterfinal match of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Saturday in Gambier.
The match was played to decision.
Oberlin's Olivia Hayden and Kelly Sipp defeated freshman Becky Simon (Hilliard/Darby) and junior Mollie Campbell (Burlington, Vt.) at No. 2 doubles.
Sophomore Pam Quigney (Mentor) fell to Oberlin's Ariel Lewis by scores of 6-0, 6-2, at No. 1 singles.
Freshman Emily Kiourtsis (Pickerington/North) lost the first set to Oberlin's Jane Hayden, 7-6, before falling, 6-3, in the second set at No. 2 singles.
