Ohio Wesleyan 5, Wooster 2

Junior Mollie Campbell (Burlington, Vt.) and freshman Becky Simon (Hilliard/Darby) were double winners as Ohio Wesleyan defeated Wooster in a consolation semifinal match of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Sunday in Gambier.

Simon and Campbell teamed up to defeat Wooster's Boo Flynn and Ashley Stockwell at No. 2 doubles, winning by a count of 8-3.

Simon then defeated Brenna Hart in straight sets at No. 3 singles, while Campbell dispatched Kelsey Jennings in straight sets at No. 4 singles.

Sophomore Pam Quigney (Mentor) and freshman Emily Kiourtsis (Pickerington/North) recorded a 9-7 win over Elissa Lauber and Jenkins at No. 1 doubles.

Senior Kaitlin Moran (Chatham, N.J.) finished off the Ohio Wesleyan scoring with a straight-set win over Erin Bauer at No. 5 singles.

With the win, Ohio Wesleyan advances to the consolation final to be played Sunday afternoon.
