Sophomore Pam Quigney (Mentor) and freshman Emily Kiourtsis (Pickerington/North) posted a win for the Bishops, but Wittenberg defeated Ohio Wesleyan in the consolation final match of the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament on Sunday in Gambier.

The match was played to decision. With the loss, Ohio Wesleyan finishes sixth in the final conference standings.

Quigney and Kiourtsis defeated Wittenberg's Kat Sundstrom and Sean Delaney at No. 1 doubles by an 8-5 score, but Wittenberg recorded wins at the other 2 doubles flights.

The Tigers then posted straight-set wins at No. 1, No. 5, and No. 6 singles to end the match.
