Two Bishops Picked to All-NCAC

Two Ohio Wesleyan University women’s tennis players were named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference teams, it was announced today.

Sophomore Pam Quigney (Mentor) and freshman Emily Kiourtsis (Pickerington/North) were All-NCAC selections.

Quigney was a second-team All-NCAC choice in singles. She compiled an 11-7 record in singles, leading the team in singles wins, while playing at flights 1 through 5. Quigney finished the season as the Bishops' No. 1 singles player, going 3-4 at the top spot in the Ohio Wesleyan ladder.

Kiourtsis was an honorable mention pick in singles. She was 7-12 overall, including a mark of 5-6 at No. 2 singles.

The Bishops compiled an overall record of 10-9 this season. Ohio Wesleyan finished sixth in the NCAC championship tournament.
