Sophomore Lainey Kekic (Canfield/Western Reserve), junior Claire Everhart (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) and freshman Chelsea Imm (Glandorf/Ottawa-Glandorf) won events to lead Ohio Wesleyan at the Greater Columbus Invitational, hosted by Denison University on Saturday in Granville.

Otterbein won the meet with 194 points to 109 1/2 for runner-up Capital. Ohio Wesleyan finished in third place with 65 points, followed by Muskingum (41 1/2), Denison (21), and Kenyon (19).

Kekic won the 200-meter dash in a time of :27.26 and added a second in the high jump and a fourth in the 400-meter dash.

Everhart won the 800-meter run in 2:22.47.

Imm won the pole vault by clearing 10-2 3/4, breaking the school record of 10-1/4 set by Amy Stafford in 2001.

Other standouts for the Bishops included freshman Emma Lisull (Ann Arbor, Mich./Greenhills), who finished second in the 5000-meter run; sophomore Kat Zimmerly (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane), who was second in the mile run; freshman Hannah Phlipot (Van Wert), who placed second in the shot put; junior Sharon Rymut (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Heights), who finished second in the weight throw; sophomore Jesi Dackin (Reynoldsburg), who finished third in the 5000-meter run; junior Ashlie Britton (LeRoy/Painesville Riverside), who was third in the 200-meter dash; sophomore Christa Cocumelli (Dublin/Bishop Watterson), who placed fourth in the 55-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash; junior Amber Alegria (Tucson, Ariz./Salpointe Catholic), who was fifth in the 200-meter dash; and freshman Sam Smyth (Falmouth, Maine), who placed fifth in the shot put.
