Junior Sarah Shinn (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) and sophomore Rachael Newman (Strongsville) represented Ohio Wesleyan at the Zips Invitational, hosted by the University of Akron on Friday in Akron.
Shinn finished second in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:17.19, followed by Newman in third place in a time of 2:17.98.
