[ Lilly Jianas ]Junior attacker Lilly Jianas (Shawnee Mission, Kan./Pembroke Hill) scored late in the first half to give the Bishops a 1-0 lead, and the Bishops added a pair of second-half goals on the way to a North Coast Athletic Conference verdict over Earlham on Tuesday in Richmond, Ind.

Jianas broke the scoreless deadlock by knocking home a goal with 3:30 left in the first half. Junior attacker Christa Cocumelli (Dublin/Bishop Watterson) was credited with an assist on the play.

Ohio Wesleyan made it 2-0 early in the second half when sophomore attacker Mimi Anthony (Millbrook, N.Y./Millbrook School) scored off a pass from junior midfielder Jessica Wright (Lancaster), and the Bishops pushed the lead to 3-0 when freshman midfielder Abbie Martin (Afton, N.Y./Central) rang up an unassisted goal.

The Bishop defense held Earlham to 4 shots on the day, with senior Krista Murray (Rochester Hills, Mich./University Liggett) credited with 2 saves. Ohio Wesleyan compiled 13 shots, with Emma Treece making 4 saves for the Quakers.
