[ Mimi Anthony ]Sophomore attacker Mimi Anthony (Millbrook, N.Y./Millbrook School) collected a hat trick and junior attacker Christa Cocumelli (Dublin/Bishop Watterson) added 2 goals as Ohio Wesleyan blanked Oberlin in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Tuesday at Oberlin.

Cocumelli tallied a pair of goals to put the Bishops on the scoreboard in the early going, knocking home an unassisted goal off a penalty corner less than 6 minutes into the game, then dribbling through the Yeowomen defense and finding the back of the cage just over 3 minutes later for a 2-0 Ohio Wesleyan lead.

Anthony followed with a score off a pass from junior attacker Caiti Goodman (Washington, D.C./Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Md.)) in the 21st minute, and freshman midfielder Calina Hilyard (Columbus/Upper Arlington) scored a rebound goal late in the first period to give the Bishops a 4-0 lead at the intermission.

Anthony completed the hat trick early in the second half, scoring off a Cocumelli pass in the 39th minute, and then scoring on an offensive rebound just over a minute later.

Sophomore attacker Abby Walsh (Millville, Mass./Blackstone-Millville) finished off the Bishop scoring with a goal off a penalty corner in the 56th minute, with sophomore attacker Lex Kondas (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) credited with an assist on the play.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot Oberlin, 25-7. Senior Krista Murray (Rochester Hills, Mich./University Liggett) had 2 saves for Ohio Wesleyan, while Emily Bigelow was credited with 9 saves and Kiran Puri had 5 saves for the Yeowomen.
