Senior Jordan Benner (Beavercreek) led Ohio Wesleyan at the Coca-Cola Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on Friday and Saturday in Savannah, Ga.

Texas-Tyler won the tournament with a 54-hole total of 883, defeating Christopher Newport by 27 shots. Ohio Wesleyan finished third at 914, followed by Lehigh (923), Bryant and Savannah Art & Design (929), Wheaton (930), Transylvania (939), Savannah State (947), and Wesley (951).

Texas-Tyler's Jacob Walsh and Joey Rippel shared medalist honors, each with a 216.

Benner finished with a 54-hole total of 225.

Senior Jesse Chiero (Westerville/South) finished with a 229, followed by senior Tommy Harman (Perrysburg) at 230, freshman Mark Fischer (Garden City, N.Y.) at 236, and senior Peter Joyce (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) with a 239.

Sophomore Caleb Chiero (Westerville/Central) and sophomore Nate Fridley (Sidney/Lehman Catholic), competing as individuals, also finished the tournament at 236.
