[ Kevin Kahn ]Sophomore Kevin Kahn (New Albany), senior Brandon Luttinger (Hingham, Mass.), sophomore Max Razmakhin (Voronezh, Russia/Lyceum #2), and sophomore Ryan Leslie (Grosse Pointe Park, Mich./Grosse Pointe South) were double winners as Ohio Wesleyan opened its season with a win over Heidelberg on Wednesday in Tiffin.

Kahn did not lose a game on the day, blanking Heidelberg's Bobby Lochotzki, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles and teaming with Luttinger for an 8-0 win over Lochotzki and Cliffi Goetz at No. 1 doubles. Luttinger defeated Goetz, 6-1, 6-3, at No. 2 singles.

Leslie also did not lose a game in the match, defeating Patrick-Ryan Earl, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 singles and pairing with Razmakhin for an 8-0 win over Bradley Cerveny and Tim Hanes at No. 3 doubles. Razmakin posted a 6-2, 6-4 win over Dylan Booth at No. 3 singles.

Freshman Matt Swaim (Oregon/Clay) and freshman Jeremy Stursberg (Philadelphia, Pa./Friends Central) recorded straight-set wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively, and junior Scott Hellberg (Sarver, Pa./Pittsburgh Central Catholic) and freshman Jake Kerosky (Ashtabula/Lakeside) completed the Bishop scoring with a straight-set win at No. 2 doubles.
