Sophomore Sharif Kronemer (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) led the Bishops and sophomore Evan Hitchcock (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) added a top-10 finish as Ohio Wesleyan hosted the Great Lakes Colleges Association championship meet on Saturday at Liberty Park in Powell.

Oberlin won the meet with 24 points to 61 for Ohio Wesleyan. Denison was third with 72 points, followed by Albion (80), Wabash (143), and Kalamazoo (164).

Kronemer finished seventh among individuals, covering the 8000-meter course in 26:37.2.

Hitchcock placed 10th overall in a time of 26:50.7.

Freshman Nathan Kafity (Huron/Lake Ridge Academy) was 13th in 26:56.9, junior Cody Morrison (Caldwell) placed 15th in 27:04.4, and sophomore Kale Booher (Covington/Newton) completed the Bishop scoring with a 16th-place finish in 27:05.8.

Junior John Thatcher (Centerburg) placed 18th in 27:08.1 and senior Christian Schlabach (Wooster/Triway) was 20th in 27:13.6.
