Bishops' Joyce Named
NCAC Player of Week

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University senior Peter Joyce (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 28, it was announced by the NCAC.

Joyce, a member of the Battling Bishop golf team, was named NCAC Golfer of the Week. He shot a 71 during Sunday's second round of the Hiram Fall Invitational to pull into a tie atop the leader board at 147, then won a playoff to claim medalist honors. Ohio Wesleyan finished second in the tournament, which was the second of 4 regular-season tournaments which count toward determining the North Coast Athletic Conference's automatic qualifer for the NCAA Division III championships.
