Bishops' Marshall Named
NCAC Player of Week

DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University junior Sarah Marshall (Lima/Senior) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 19, it was announced by the NCAC.

Marshall, a setter on the Battling Bishop volleyball team, was named NCAC Volleyball Player of the Week. She dished out 44 assists to match her season best and added 15 digs and a block assist as Ohio Wesleyan came back from a 2-sets-to-1 deficit to post its first win of the season with a 3-2 win over Denison on Saturday. She also contributed 30 assists, 4 kills, and 14 digs in a 3-1 loss to Wooster; distributed 33 assists and added 3 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 win over Kenyon; and compiled 21 assists and 2 kills along with 10 digs in a 3-0 loss to Hiram. Marshall opened the week with 41 assists and a team-high 17 digs in an NCAC loss to Oberlin. On the week, she compiled 151 assists, an average of 8.39/set; 13 kills; and 67 digs, an average of 3.72/set.
