Bishops' Wall Named
NCAC Player of Week

[ Travis Wall ]DELAWARE, OHIO -- Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Travis Wall (Columbus/Upper Arlington) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 2, it was announced by the NCAC.

Wall, a midfielder on the Battling Bishop men's soccer team, was named NCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week. He scored 2 goals in Ohio Wesleyan's 3-0 win over Wittenberg on Wednesday. The win clinched the NCAC championship for Ohio Wesleyan, the Bishops' second straight, fifth in the last 6 years, and 18th overall in the 26 seasons of NCAC competition. The Bishops finished the regular season with a 2-0 win over Allegheny on Saturday, giving Ohio Wesleyan a school-record 17 shutouts this season and extending the Bishops' winning streak in conference games to 23, tying the record set by Ohio Wesleyan from 1998-2001.
