Bishops' Kovach Voted to
Academic All-District® Teams

Ohio Wesleyan University senior Kristin Kovach (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV women's volleyball teams, it was announced today.

Kovach was a second-team Academic All-District selection.

Kovach, an outside hitter for the Battling Bishops, ranked second on the team and 10th in the North Coast Athletic Conference with an average of 2.25 kills per set this season. She was third on the team with an average of 3.03 digs per set. Kovach is a zoology and neuroscience major.

The ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District teams are selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America, with District 4 consisting of schools in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. To be considered for the teams, one must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better and be a starter or important reserve.
