Senior outside hitter Kristin Kovach (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) collected 14 kills to lead the Ohio Wesleyan offense as the Bishops defeated Kenyon in a North Coast Athletic Conference match on Sunday at Earlham College in Richmond, Ind.

Ohio Wesleyan won the match by scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.

In Sunday's second match, Hiram defeated the Bishops by scores of 25-22, 25-8, 25-19.

Kovach had 14 kills and junior middle hitter Lainey Kekic (Canfield/Western Reserve) added 8 against Kenyon. 

Junior setter Sarah Marshall (Lima/Senior) collected 33 assists and contributed 11 digs on the defensive end.

Freshman middle hitter Ashley Haynes (Norton) led the Bishops with 3 blocks, while Kekic and freshman outside hitter Meg Weissenberger (Toledo/Central Catholic) had 2 apiece.  Junior outside hitter Alexa Bean (Columbus/Upper Arlington) had a team-high 30 digs and freshman libero Madison Stofcheck (Richwood/North Union) contributed 14 digs.

Against Hiram, Weissenberger led the way with 11 kills.  Marshall contributed 21 assists and 10 digs.

Weissenberger had a team-high 14 digs and Bean added 12 digs for Ohio Wesleyan.
