[ Erin Hanahan ]Senior Erin Hanahan (Madison/Perry) posted a first-place finish for Ohio Wesleyan in a dual meet against North Coast Athletic Conference foe Denison on Saturday at Pfeiffer Natatorium.

Hanahan won the 1-meter diving competition with a score of 210.60.

Other standouts for the Bishops included sophomore Holly Gilbert (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy), who placed second in the 1000 freestyle and fourth in the 500 freestyle; sophomore Morgan Canup (Milford, Mich.), who placed second in the 1-meter diving competition; senior Kendra Klossner (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley), who was second in the 200 freestyle; junior Marisa Obuchowski (Baltimore, Md./Pikesville), who was third in the 200 breaststroke and fourth in the 400 IM; sophomore Michelle Strong (Londonderry, N.H.), who placed third in the 1000 freestyle; sophomore Chelsea Nicholas (Berkeley, Calif.), who was third in the 1-meter diving competition; sophomore Anne McComas (Beverly Hills, Mich./Groves), who finished fourth in the 50 and 100 freestyles; sophomore Ali Russ (Shaker Heights), who placed fourth in the 200 freestyle; sophomore Marina Metzler (Columbia, Md./Hammond), who was fourth in the 200 butterfly; and sophomore Jill Simpson (Westerville/North), who placed fourth in the 200 backstroke.

The Bishop 400 freestyle relay team of sophomore Rachel Schlosser (Euclid), Strong, Simpson, and Gilbert finished second in its event.
