Sophomore Jill Simpson (Westerville/North) won 2 events and helped a relay team to another win as Ohio Wesleyan swept a double dual meet against Urbana and Ursuline on Friday at Pfeiffer Natatorium.

Simpson won the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:15.45 and took the 100 butterfly in 1:13.16. She also teamed with sophomore Holly Gilbert (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy), sophomore Michelle Strong (Londonderry, N.H.), and sophomore Randi Savage (Delaware/Hayes) to win the 200 medley relay in 2:11.89.

Also winning events for Ohio Wesleyan were senior Ashley Rosenquist (Willits, Calif.), who won the 100 freestyle in 1:02.11 and finished second in the 100 breaststroke; sophomore Marina Metzler (Columbia, Md./Hammond), who won the 1000 freestyle in 12:07.27; freshman Emilie Schachtner (Williamsville, N.Y./East), who won the 50 freestyle in :28.59; sophomore Leah Puening (Independence), who won the 200 IM in 2:39.49; sophomore Rachel Schlosser (Euclid), who won the 100 backstroke in 1:13.57; and junior Marisa Obuchowski (Baltimore, Md./Pikesville), who won the 500 freestyle in 5:54.00.

The Bishop 200 freestyle relay team of freshman Erin Vassar (Tiffin/Columbian), Schachtner, Metzler, and sophomore Ali Russ (Shaker Heights) won its event in 1:51.54.
