Senior wing Tim Brady (Dublin/Jerome) scored 14 points and junior guard Andy Winters (Columbus/Bishop Watterson) tallied all 11 of his points during the first half as Ohio Wesleyan built a 16-point halftime lead, and the Bishops pulled away for a North Coast Athletic Conference win over Kenyon on Wednesday at Branch Rickey Arena.

Ohio Wesleyan scored the game's first 8 points, collecting a lay-in and a 3-point play by Winters and a 3-point play by Brady.

The Lords, who missed their first 10 shots from the field, finally got on the scoreboard when Julian Pavlin connected on a 3-pointer just over 5 minutes into the game, and when Marcus Healey followed with a 3-pointer, the visitors were within 10-6 less than a minute later.

Brian Lebowitz added a pair of 3-point plays later in the half, and when Healey buried another 3-pointer and Pavlin followed with a lay-in, the Lords had their first lead of the game at 19-18 with 7:50 left in the half.

Ohio Wesleyan answered with a 23-6 run to close out the half, with Brady knocking down a pair of 3-pointers, Winters hitting a pair of free throws and a pair of baskets, and sophomore post Reuel Rogers (Columbus/Bexley) highlighting the spurt with a steal and fast-break dunk.

Winters' basket in the closing seconds of the half gave the Bishops a 41-25 lead at the break, and Rogers opened the second half with a jumper from the lane to make it a 43-25 game.

Kenyon closed to within 45-31 on a fast-break lay-in by Marcus Healy, but that was as close as the Lords would come.

Brady led the Bishops with 22 points, junior post Marshall Morris (Tulsa, Okla./Jenks) added 13 points, Rogers scored 12 points, grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds, and blocked 5 shots; freshman wing Nick Felhaber (Holland/Toledo St. John's) added 12 points, and Winters scored 11 points and dished out a game-high 9 assists.

Pavlin led Kenyon with 16 points.
