6th of 15 at Transylvania Fall Invitational

Junior Jerry Moore (Mogadore) led Ohio Wesleyan at the Transylvania Fall Invitational, hosted by Transylvania University on Friday and Saturday at the University Club of Kentucky's Wildcat Course in Lexington, Ky.

Wisconsin-Stout won the tournament with a 2-day total of 577, edging host Transylvania by 2 shots. Bellarmine was third with 581 strokes, followed by Centre (586), St. Thomas (587), Ohio Wesleyan (591), and Otterbein (597).

Moore finished with a 2-over-par 144 to finish in a sixth-place tie among individuals.

Senior Nate Fridley (Sidney/Lehman Catholic) shot a 2-under-par 69 during Saturday's second round to finish at 146, tying for 12th place. Freshman Jon Neroni (Kettering/Alter) tied for 27th place with a 150, senior Justin Akers (Richwood/North Union) tied for 61st place at 158, and senior Caleb Chiero (Westerville/Central) tied for 66th place with a 159.
