2nd of 8 at Heidelberg Fall Invitational

[ Alison Falk ]Freshman Courtney Tincher (Zanesville/West Muskingum) led Ohio Wesleyan at the Heidelberg Fall Invitational, hosted by Heidelberg University on Saturday and Sunday at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin.

Baldwin-Wallace won the tournament with a 2-day total of 679, with Ohio Wesleyan finishing second with a 754. Capital placed third with a 765, followed by Ohio Northern (777), John Carroll (778), Wooster (798), Heidelberg (842), and Notre Dame (912).

Tincher carded a first-round 89 and followed that with a second-round 87 to finish at 176, good for a seventh-place tie in the individual standings.

Sophomore Alison Falk (Hookstown, Pa./South Side) finished 11th with a 184, freshman Sarah McQuade (Dublin/Coffman) finished 17th at 191, freshman Katy Keckler (Cridersville/Wapakoneta) placed 25th with a 203, and freshman Ally Lichwa (Hilliard/Bishop Ready) was 36th with a 232.
