Coach Dennis Compston

Dennis Compston is in his fourth season as an assistant football coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Compston has more than 20 years' collegiate football coaching experience. He served as head coach at Urbana University from 1997-99, earning conference Coach of the Year honors once.

He also has served as offensive coordinator at Urbana and Manchester College, and as defensive coordinator at Virginia-Wise, Concord (W.Va.), West Virginia Tech, and Earlham.

Compston is a 1978 graduate of Defiance College. He was a 4-year letterman for the Yellow Jackets. Compston continued his education at Ball State University, earning a master's degree in physical education.

Compston is a native of Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
