![]() Grossman Named Ohio Wesleyan June 20, 2011 "I am very excited for the season," Grossman said. "I think there is so much talent returning, and the players' enthusiasm will make it easier to put my mark on the program. We look forward to building a record that will be reflective of the players' hard work." Grossman replaces Julie Duffy, who resigned to pursue other career opportunities. “I am very excited to have Meg accept this position,” Ingles said. “She was a fine addition to our staff last year, and I’m confident she’s up to the challenges of this position. Her experience as a player at Allegheny and assistant coach here at Ohio Wesleyan, both in the North Coast Athletic Conference, will make this a seamless transition for her, our players and athletic staff.” Grossman is a native of Lexington, Ky., and a graduate of Allegheny (Pa.) College, where she majored in managerial economics and minored in communications. She came to Ohio Wesleyan in 2010. During her collegiate athletic career, she was a 4-year starter on the Gator women’s lacrosse team. She was a first-team all-region selection and a 3-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference pick. Prior to her college career, she was a 4-year letter winner in soccer at the Sayre (Ky.) School and was the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior. |
