WESLEY TAKES FIRST-ROUND LEAD
AT NCAA DIVISION III TOURNAMENT

May 12, 2003

The fact that a member of the Wesley College golf team raced to the top of the individual standings was no surprise.

What was a surprise was which member of the Wolverines led the way as Wesley took an 11-stroke lead during the first round of the NCAA Division III men's golf championships on Monday at Dornoch Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio.

Anthony Apolostico, the No. 4 golfer for Wolverine coach Rick McCall, fired a one-under-par 70 to lead all players. Monday's Results
