
Coach Jessica Viertlboeck
Jessica Viertlboeck is in her second season as an assistant women's basketball
coach at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Viertlboeck came to Ohio Wesleyan from Brown University, where she coached
for 3 seasons. Earlier, she was an assistant at Alma for one season. Viertlboeck
began her coaching career as a graduate assistant at Central Michigan
University.
Viertlboeck
is a 2001 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan. She lettered 4 times in basketball
and once in softball at Ohio Wesleyan, and was a key figure in the Battling
Bishop basketball team's run to the national semifinals in 2001. Viertlboeck
was a 4-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection, receiving
first-team laurels in 2000 and 2001, and was named Most Outstanding Player
of the NCAC tournament in 2001. She finished her career ranked second
on the Ohio Wesleyan scoring list as well as eighth in rebounding and
fifth in assists.
Viertlboeck is a native of Toledo.
