Team OWU

TEAM OWU, the philanthropic arm of the Ohio Wesleyan “W” Association, provides operating budget income for the OWU sports teams. Through a network of coaches, alumni, parents and volunteers, Team OWU funds allow Ohio Wesleyan to stay at the forefront of NCAA Division III athletics.

Gifts to Team OWU directly affect the Battling Bishop programs by providing:

• Travel expenses to compete against the best teams in the nation
• Upgraded facilities and equipment
• New uniforms
• Coach’s assistance to recruit top talent and keep our Battling Bishops at the forefront of the NCAC and the NCAA
• Use of the new “W” Association Lounge and media room in Edwards Gymnasium for team meetings, video screenings, and for studying and relaxing between classes.

More than 100 years of a tradition of excellence is behind OWU athletics. With an energized alumni organization, a focus on the scholar-athlete and a $22 million-plus commitment for new and improved facilities, the next 100 years are even more promising.
